Krista Gorman is a Physician Assistant who, only three weeks after graduating from her PA training program in 2000, suffered cardiopulmonary arrest and died while in labor with her daughter. During the eight minutes she was without a detectable heartbeat, she experienced a NDE in which she underwent a profound reconnection with what she describes as the Divine love of God. She describes her experience in her book, “I Died and Learned How to Live“.
