Atwater, PMH, L.H.D., Ph.D

An international authority on near-death states, PMH Atwater is the author of 10 books, her writings have also appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers. She has lectured twice at the United Nations and guested on TV and radio talk shows such as Sally Jessy Raphael, Larry King Live, Entertainment Tonight, Regis & Kathy Lee, Geraldo, and The Shirley Show in Canada. Recently she was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists and the “Outstanding Service Award” from IANDS (where she has also been a 2 term board member).

Burrows, Bonni

Bonni J Burrows is the author of Death? — It’s a Journey to Life!, Sojourn in the Light, and My Journey Through a Doorway Called Death. In 1975, Bonni was a young mother, living on a small farm and expecting her third child. Complications six months into that pregnancy took her, first to thehospital and then, on the greatest journey of her life —a Love-permeated journey—a journey so incredible she would have chosen to abandon her beloved husband and children to remain in that realm, her true home — our true home.

Eadie, Bettie J.

When Bettie was 31, she died in a hospital after undergoing surgery. What happened next has been called by some, “the most profound near-death experience ever.” Bettie journeyed to a beautiful world beyond this life where she met Jesus. He gave her a message to give to others when she returned. In her book, Embraced By The Light, she shares that message. Bettie describes the wonderful places she visited and the loving people that welcomed her.

Moody, Raymond, Ph.D

Dr. Moody is the best-selling author of eleven books including Life After Life—which has sold over 13 million copies world wide—and Reunions, as well as numerous articles in academic and professional literature. Dr. Moody continues to capture enormous public interest and generate controversy with his ground-breaking work on the near-death experience and what happens when we die.



Morse, Melvin L., MD

George Washington University School of Medicine. He interned in Pediatrics at the University of California at San Francisco, and then completed a residency in Pediatrics at Seattle Children’s Hospital. He has a two-year fellowship in Hematology/Oncology studying brain tumors and leukemia, also at Seattle Children’s Hospital He has a one year fellowship in Behavioral Pediatrics.  His near death research was the result of his winning a National Service Research Award.

Ritchie, George, Ph.D

In December, 1943, George Ritchie died of pneumonia. Nine minutes later, miraculously and unaccountably, he returned to life to tell of his amazing near-death experience in the afterlife. His near-death experience was the one that profoundly moved Raymond Moody to begin seriously investigating the near-death experience. Since Dr. Moody is considered to be the “father of the near-death experience,” Dr. Ritchie’s near-death experience is in a class of its own. You will find his experience to be one of the most profound near-death experiences ever documented.

Rives, Kim

Kim is an author, musician, motivational speaker and hypnotherapist. Her book, My Walk Thru Heaven,is an inspiring true story of a young single mother’s valiant fight against cancer.  Losing the battle, she finds herself taking an incredible journey through the portals of death and beyond.  Her mission not yet complete, she is commissioned to return from Heaven and share the message she was given.

Sharp, Kimberly Clark

Kim had an extraordinary near-death experience during the minutes after her heart suddenly stopped and she lay on the sidewalk, not breathing and without a pulse. Swept into a peaceful, loving place of brilliant golden light and warm comfort, she saw, for the first time, the meaning of life – and death. After her near-death experience, she became the cofounder and president of the Seattle International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS).
